To create a safe space for NYC adolescents to explore their talents and apply them to their success through community events.
Many adolescents in NYC’s underserved communities lack access to arts education and digital literacy training, creating barriers to self-expression, higher education, and career opportunities in creative industries. As schools continue to cut funding for arts programs and technological training, the need for alternative learning spaces has never been greater.
The Drawing Board Foundation offers accessible, hands-on programs that equip young people with the creative, technical, and entrepreneurial skills needed to navigate today’s digital landscape. Through mentorship, experiential learning, and community engagement, we help participants turn their talents into viable career paths.
The foundation primarily serves adolescents aged 12-18 from underserved communities in NYC, focusing on those with limited access to creative and technological education.
